Solved Guidance to find way to connect to internet

I have this desktype computer at a place where there is a fast fiber internet connection that I plug the wire into the back of the computer. I would like to move it to my home where there is no telephone or cable wires available. The cellular service is poor and I don't have a modern cellular phone with a screen anyway. Is there something I can buy to plug into my computer that can get an internet signal and what company would I pay for connection time for it. I use AOL for internet now. I also have an ipad that I take to McDonalds, but I worry about security. Thank you for any guidance that you might offer.
