In the notification window GWX does not appear so that I can turn it on or off.
Also in that windows I have tried to turn on the power icon and it will not let
me do it. Was just trying it to see if I could change it.
Running Windows 7 pro 64 bit.
I have not been able to update my computer for months. I have windows updates
sent to manual. I want to make sure that GWX is turned off as I have no intention
of putting Windows 10 on my computer.
If this problem has already been addressed, please point me to the thread so that I can
read it.
I'm Guessing but maybe the reason the GWX update does not appear in the
Notifications area is that I have never downloaded the update.....
