Hello, for almost 2 years (since i bought the pc) im getting bsods while doing several things not something special and not always the same. I 've already changed my ram (i thought the prob was there) and since i got the new kit i reinstalled the os. I keep getting bsods and i tryed the driver verifier which ended up with: The problem seems to be caused by the following file: hal.dll
DRIVER_VERIFIER_DMA_VIOLATION

i saw a post talking about this one but with different STOP error -i think it was x124- while mine is *** STOP: 0x000000e6

I 'm also sending the attachment.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Mteo, welcome to SF!

Regretfully, not all the info is complete for some reason, so I'm guessing some of the stuff I see...

I hope you have some ASUS stuff and it seems you have a TV-card or something like it. Both crashes were caused by 3xHybr64.sys, which I only recognize from ASUS hybrid tv drivers for Siemens TV connections. Find it and if you still use it try to update: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download

Also your Graphics drivers are too old and have caused crashes in the past. Please follow:
http://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-...alyst-video-driver-windows-7-a.html#post17671

Be sure to delete the old drivers completely as instructed there...

I see the system specs are good, ASUS confirmed there...

Hello MvdB, thanks for the response!
Yes actually i have a tv-card GIGABYTE P8000 i forgot to mentioned. I searched lately and they haven't anything new :/ i will search a bit more to see whats on with this tv-card.
So now about the graphics drivers, i think i have the latest package from ATI coz i remember downloading about a month ago.

I've check your dump... you have Catalyst parts that I'm certain are too old. Please check to be sure?

First please try a full install of the Catalyst suite using the link in my first post. If that does not renew them, post back and I will help you through the process of a forced de-install...
