I had a hard disk that was getting funky. Ran chkdsk /f 3 or 4 times and each time it came up with some orphaned files. I backed up what I wanted from the disk and repartioned and formated and restored the files. It seems to have fixed the problem. What is chkdsk not checking (or can't handle)?

For future refrences, you can always type the command along with a space followed by /?. It'll tell you about the command and it's parameters in detail.
