My computer rebooted on its own one day, i was afk but i noticed it, so i went through the windows system log, and saw a hard disk read error so i scanned my disk, there was some errors, i got some of them fixed by using a sea tools boot disk (it is a seagate disk). it fixed some of the errors. but im still getting this..

Is this bad? and if yes how bad is it? I ran chkdsk /x /f /r /b on all partitions of the disk, and i did a defrag too....

Is my hard disk dying?

Use the built in check disk. Use the second option. It will take at least an hour but will fix the problem. If the hard drive is bad additional problems will occur quickly.

It said nothing about bad sectors, i think the Sea tools I ran at first fixed something... but this is the message i get now... But the :warn: worries me tho... Sadly i did not write down the first warnings i got... I was too busy trying to fix it..

Should i back up my data and get a new disk, or is it fixed?

You should always back up your stuff.
In addition, download the free Macrium reflect. Make an image of your hard drive and put it on an external.
Back up the image once a week. If you ever have a problem, you can buy a new Hard Drive, in 15 minutes put the image on the new drive and you are set to go. Your stuff and all of your software will be ready to use.
If your hard drive is over 5 years old or so, the warning may be an indication of a problem. You will not know for certain until new problems occur.
If it were mine, I would back up my stuff, make an image and use the hard drive. If you get new errors, you have problems and it should be replaced.

Go to Seagate.com and see if your drive is under warranty, you can send it in for a new one if it is.

I have a 1 TB with some bad sectors I`m sending in.
