Hello,

Can't you use Aero?
Click on the link "Troubleshoot problems with transparency and other Aero effects", like at the bottom of your first picture.
That should fix it.

For the failing Shadow Copy service here is a link Error: Volume shadow Copy Service used by system restore is not - Microsoft Answers
Make sure those services are running then you should check the files of your system with the 'sfc /scannow' command, here is how to do it: How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or on Windows 7.
