Hard disk wrong free space

In my second hard disk D:\ i have files whose size is 75GB in total.
But the hard disk shows the used space to be 135GB.
6OGB are missing,WHY?

(I have the show all files option enable,i run the...disk cleanup,full scan disk check with enable the Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors)
But the results are the same.

Either there's another partition or your motherboard isn't seeing the whole drive.

I thought I'd seen the last of LBA and 130Gb visibility issues, but perhaps you have one such chipset which hasn't been updated...

If this is a drive where System Protection is turned on...it's very possible that system restore points are taking up this space. Might want to look there.

Go to help and support, type in partitions. Then go to about number 7, it will tell you how to get to partition manager. Check see what is there.

Page file/ memory dump etc.

the paging file will steal space too without it being obvious as well as memory dumps etc. This can be a significant amount of space.
