Hard Drive Crashed???

Hi! Everybody.. i'm newbie here i have samsung laptop windows 7 home premuim 64 bit 500G HD 4G RAM Quadcore Processor Model:NP305E7A-A02US

I have this error: "error code: 0x80070570" maybe because i reinstall windows 7 again and again? and i noticed in the bios settings that the total memory slot 2 was not installed.. can i still fix this or i need to take this laptop to the expert? Please help.. Thank much!!

Two things for you to try:

Reset the BIOS:

• Turn off the laptop > remove the power supply > remove the battery
• Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds or so
• Put it all back together and start up > try the install again

If you get the install error again try this:

• On the screen with the error code click OK
• You will be taken back to the Install Now screen
• Without restarting, just click on Install Now again.

Perhaps a clean wipe of your HDD - diskpart Clean All - during install may help.

Why did you reinstall again and again? Was the install hanging at some point -- maybe arournd 77%? Was the install failing part way through?

Just brute force reinstalling over and over is not going to work.

hey everyone! i already did reinstalled windows 7.. it works! and yes sir mark phelps it's hanging when i almost finish..

glad i made it thanks for the big help everybody.

but here's my next problem.. got this error: "the following hard disks are reporting failure" disk name: ST500LM012 HN-M500MB ATA DEVICE

Go to the Seagate website and download and run their hard drive diagnostic tool.
