Solved Hard drive missing (after using "FASTCOPY")

After I used "Fastcopy" to copy quite some files ( 'bout 20 GB) from a stick to my Harddrive "O", it got unaccesable. I could see it in Explorer, but couldn't access any files/folders. I tried to delete the files I just transferred, but the drive was not accessable. Drive "O" is (was...) a 1TB / one partition HD.
After rebooting, my drive "O" was gone. I can not see it in Explorer, not in MiniTool Partition Wizard, not in testdisk-7.0, not in Disk Management... nowhere... Nothing changed after rebooting again.
I have used Fastcopy before and did not have any problems with it (except that it was not really faster than the standard Windows copy function  ) Now I uninstalled it so I can't use it "accidentely"

I understand that the drive could just have "died", but it seems to be quite coincidentical ...

Any clues / tips to find my "O"-drive back will be appreciated muchly !

Thanks in Advance !

Thanks Prof !

I did try the "testdisk" program, but my O-drive wasn't listed, nor the HD. Strangly enough when I started my computer this morning, my O-drive was there. I restarted my computer several times yesterday, but like I said in my previous post, it was never there. Maybe because I never "powered down", but only restarted Windows ??
Anyhow, I'm a happy camper.
Thanks again !

I'm glad the wayward drive returned home. It might not be a bad idea to check all the cables and power connections, then do a full hard drive test soon. They're not supposed to just disappear like that... :D

Thanks again, Prof !
I'm quite sure that my cables are all well connected. (I'm professional electronic engineer, so I routed and fastened all my cables nicely). I think that the fiend was FastCopy
It's a nice looking program, and has some extra features that Windows does not have. But it's not stable. I had other weird things happening when I used it in the past, but then thought it was just a coincidence. Now I'm sure it's a bad program, so I uninstalled it.
I think the HD didn't reappear because I only used the windows "Restart". After a real power down the HD came back.
Nevertheless : thanks for your input !

I'll add that program to my "Avoid" list, then.
