Unless the budget is really tight, I would look for a am3+ motherboard, so you will have a upgrade path to the new Bulldozer chips....but you will need DDR3 ram.....

I've had good luck with WD drives....but your mileage may vary.....

Are you aware that the Intel E5700 requires an LGA775 motherboard, and would be incompatible with any of the AMD boards that you list?

It's not clear to me the an Athlon II X2 250 would be a major upgrade over a Phenom 8450.

If you want 4 DIMM slots, note that the ASROCK AM3 GF7025 has only two.

Sticking with DDR2 is going to severely limit your choices. You may want to wait until your budget permits switching to DDR3, which would allow you to use a more up-to-date CPU and motherboard.

Ivan is right about the AM3+ board, it's good for future upgrades. Also, that Intel CPU you are looking at will not go in that AMD board. I would suggest pick out the CPU first and then find a motherboard that will fit that socket.

Bobkin has faster fingers than me.
