have the address bar display the folder tree like Windows XP

I wish there was a way to have the address bar display the folder tree like Windows XP did instead of the "previous locations" it does now which is utterly useless to me. I don't even use it because it really displays nothing to help in navigation.

Hello Mike,

That's what the navigation pane is usually for now, but you should be able to click on the arrows in the address bar's path to be able to navigate to a folder as well like below.

If that doesn't work for you, then you might give the free program Classic Shell a try to see how it may work for you. It will have a folder tree in the address bar. :)
