I'm trying to convert a UIF file (why people use this anymore is beyond me -- closed usage of supposedly OPEN formats is not a good idea -- even APPLE don't do that)
to a standard ISO so it can be burned / mounted / read via standard software.
I LOV E the comment the author of this open source program (UIFISO) puts in his code.
expand the image and see the comment about the encryption !!!!
We should AVOID using weird file formats for W7 (or any OS in fact).

Lol, I was going to post that Magic ISO will convert it Used it today for 1st time to slipstream SP1 to a OEM Windows 7 image. It wanted to output as UIF because "it will be a smaller image". I chose the big .iso image, lol.

by Easter egg I meant a hidden, pleasant surprise in software. MS included a few in 98 and XP, such as another game and screen savers. But one had to look for them.
