Solved Having a persistant issue with picture thumbnails

I have visited many forums and I have tried multiple solutions but none have worked.

my pictures are not showing a thumbnail preview.

I have checked boxes in the system advanced settings, and in the folder options. I cannot figure this out. and before anyone asks, yes I have tried changing the size slider for viewing the images.

Maybe the attached screenshot will give you a better idea of what i need to do to get this fixed.
if you can help, it will be very appreciated.

well, luckily, a member of the Yahoo answers community was able to help me.

it turns out that even with those settings checked, i still needed a program to over ride the settings. if you have the same issue. try the third option from the link below...
