Hello everyone. I am having trouble connecting to the internet by wireless. When ever i try connecting, my network/router was show up but after trying to connect it will say windows was unable to connect to ______ (my network name). If i try using a ethernet cord, it would work fine. May you please help me try and fix this issue. Thank you

Could it be that your wireless network is broadcasting a network with difference security setup than what you have setup W7 with? What are the securities settings?

Are you able to log into your router while connected by ethernet? Click on your network icon in the taskbar. Click on "open network and sharing center". Click on your network connection and select "wireless properties". Click on the security tab and make sure your encryption type and security type match the same values that the router is set up for.
