Hello, i am trying to install the drivers for an easycoder pf4i and am getting a message that states "already installed, try uninstalling and reinstalling later. I had already attempted to install but had a power failure during the installation and now cant install again. I went into print management and deleted the printer, driver and package. Also deleted the honeywell folder in the program files. In the command line I did typed printui /s /t2 and it was not in there. I work for a shipping company and we have other printer drivers installed: zebra, cannon, samsung, brother. Could any of these other drivers be the cause? Does anyone happen to know a different tactic? we need this printer functional and wouls love any input.

thanks in advance!!

I think that it is partially installed and blocking new attempts. Go back with system restore and start over.
If that does not work, try saving the driver to your computer and then try to install from there.

I have used registry editors to remove all traces of certain failed or noLongerNeeded software; however, such has to be very cautiously used, else, it can lead to totally reinstalling Windows. Also, after removing all traces, sometimes one has to cold boot computer before attempting reinstall of device & software.
You mentioned power failure. For future use, consider installing an UPS, which will give user 15-30 minutes to properly shut down in case of long-lasting power failure; gives user peace of mind during brown-outs and/or quick-outages.

Do not change the registry, unless you know what you are doing. You can take a chance, however, by making a system restore first.
Download and scan with ccleaner, its free. That will clean out any temp files and more.
If you did not try the website, try that
Support Downloads: Locate and download software for Intermec products
If you were trying the website, while uninstalled try the cd again.

richc46, your way is much safer, I don't advise registry editing except as an absolute last resort. I forgot to mention that last resort idea in my earlier post.
