Hello, recently I figured out that the amount of ram I am going to order is too much for Windows Professional 32 bit. So I was trying to do a clean install of the 64 bit version from my cousins disk, but it stopped immediately at "Windows is loading files", then gives me an error "0xc00000e9". So I tried using an ISO file he had on a usb with the "Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool" but it seems that my computer skips trying to boot from my usb and just goes straight to the starting windows page. So I'm basically checking wether or not you guys could help me install it? Thanks for any help.

Hello Guy,

Can you enter the BIOS? From there, you can change the boot order and make USB boot first, cd last. You might also try F8 to select your boot device (if that doesn't work, try another function key like F10 or F12).

You might try this method, but be very careful. I just looked it up on google, and I have no way of knowing how good this information is: Boot From a USB Drive Even if your BIOS Won’t Let You - How-To Geek

I've already tried that but when I hit F10 and select "Removable" it tells me that there is no bootable device.

Guy,

Perhaps that USB stick will not allow it to be used as a bootable device? I think some USB sticks are not able to be used in this way, or you may have to have it set up according to a specific standard in order to do it.

If you don't mind, you might try reinstalling everything. Do a clean install if you have the right CD. I know it will be starting over again, but format all drives and make sure you install the right drivers once it completes (Do let me know if it completes, however).

Do you have your 32 bit version?
Will it boot from that copy?

Alright, just tried the USB on my brothers laptop and it booted from it. So could it be my motherboard? Also I'm going to upgrade to a Biostar A780L3L will that boot from USB?

Plug in the stick and access the one-time BIOS Boot menu. Look under USB, Removable and HD's to see if stick registers by it's name. You may need to expand the category to see it.

All I get is removable, when I select it it tells me nothing is detected.

How do you know this is a good ISO? Burn the one I linked for you using ImgBurn or write to stick using the tool I also linked. If you would follow the steps given you will get this done.

Try downloading and burning another Windows 7 Pro 64 bit ISO from here: http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-59186.iso.

I'm not using the one I found, but I'll try what you told me and I'll tell you wether or not it works.
Alright found out the disc doesn't work either so what is the best way to burn the ISO?
