Solved HD 6670 card hdmi gives no output?

Hello, I have a crossfire setup with XFX HD 6670, each card has 3 outputs: VGS, HDMI, DL-DVI

I currently use on card's VGA out to my sony tv to double as my monitor. I want to use hdmi though but seem to get only a black screen on the sony. I've checked my device manager and cannot find hdmi but hdmi (only one) shows up on the audio playback device under the sound manager in windows 7 but "not connected".

Do I even have hdmi drivers? Am I missing something?

Messing around with it I turned off crossfire mode and have access to the hdmi.
