I had two 3TB Seagate HDD's set up as a mirror in disk management, one of them failed about a week ago so I bought a new drive to replace the failed one, after initializing the new drive the failed drive was still showing under disk management so I stupidly removed it and now the good drive is showing as 'Unallocated'
It didn't give me any warnings and just took 2 seconds so it's not been formatted, can I recover this drive some how?
Thanks.
Yes.. i think its possible.. and there are softwares like Minitool power data recovery..etc..umm and if you had partition table saved it could be done too.. someone in the forum would be able to help you.. i guess computer by default keeps a track of diskpartition activities..so if you can get a hang of the partition table i should be able to help you with recovery.
Oh i remember this minitools partition wizard..with it you can recovery partitions.. and its for free..
let me find the link...
