HDD gone from Win Explorer after clean re-install

Hi All,

I'd really appreciate a hand with a strange issue i'm having. My system was running fine, but then I noticed that Win update had stopped running. So decided to do a clean re-install of Win 7 64-bit. I've got a seperate SDD OS drive, which i reformated and re-installed Win 7 on. And a separate HDD data drive, which I didn't touch.

Following the re-install of win 7 and all the drivers (mobo, etc), the data HDD is visible in the Device manager, but not in Windows Explorer. So I can't seem to access it at the moment.

Any ideas?

Do you need to assign it a letter? Drive Letter - Add, Change, or Remove in Windows 7 - Windows 7 Forums
