HDD "nearly full" message

ok, heres the deal, i have a very small homemade recovery partition, which is literally just big enough to hold the recovery files, unfortunately, windows keeps telling me every 3-4 minutes "HD Z:\ is nearly full please delete some files to make space" its not an issue as such, but its SUPPOSED to be nearly full and the messages are annoying, any way to turn them off?

Type regedit in to the start menu search box. Hit enter.

Navigate to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\

Create a new DWORD by typing NoLowDiskSpaceChecks

Set its value to 1.

Reboot and enjoy.
