HDD Prob....

Hi all.
I'm new to SevenForums and I want get 7.
I have XP so I will set a dual-boot and there's a problem..
I have the 7 ISO and the way to install it, but when I tried to create another partition in the unallocated space on my drive, I get surprised when I see a blank screen in Disk Management! No partition tool is working.
Any help will be appreciated.

I can't reboot to install because my netbook doesn't have a CD Drive to burn a disc.
My 4GB Pendrive is not recognized by Windows. Now?

Here's the best way to create a dual boot with XP, have a look at this tutorial at the link below and be sure to post back with any further questions you may have and to keep us informed.

At this point, Windows 7 doesn't need to be "installed with caution". Run the Upgrade Advisor to find out if any of your software has issues with it, and then ditch the dated, old school dual boot ideas. Assuming your netbook has the hardware to run it, Windows 7 will be a better fit than XP anyway.

As for the install, I haven't come across too many people who still do the installs from DVD anyway. It is much easier and faster from the USB drive, and if you use one large enough, you can have your drivers on the same disk, ready to go as well.

Yeah.. AVG Antivirus 2011 reported 1 threat, and when I removed it, it's still same..
