Hello.I was wondering if it is worth the trouble to download in FLAC quality if the sound goes through HDMI.I have a laptop connected to a plasma tv,through an amplifier and then through 5.1 speakers:geek:Kind Regards ASSER.

The HDMI audio is full fidelity and is whatever audio that is fed to it. Thus whatever type of audio you have is what is sent over HDMI.

I would guess that the FLAC recordings would give the best quality, a poor quality recording through HDMI will still be a poor quality recording.
