Hey all,
I've got an issue when trying to connect my PC to my monitor via HDMI. For some reason, the image comes up super bright and harsh, like the contrast and brightness are jacked way up. Problem is they aren't, and going through Windows color management display calibration doesn't change the acid-washed appearance of HDMI. Funny thing is, when I use an HDMI to DVI cable, the display looks fine. I know the cable and the monitor aren't at fault because hooking up a PS3 with the same HDMI cable to the same monitor produces a beautiful image. It can't be the gfx card because this has occurred with 2 different cards. The only variable left is Windows. Anybody have any idea what this could be?
