headphones help for simultaneous sound

I am having a problem with getting sound from my headphones. Basically, when I am using skype I can hear the voice over ip sound, that is, the other person talking through my headphones; however, when I try to play music via youtube it forces the music to play through my speakers instead of my headphones. All I want is to have both the sound from youtube and the sound from Skype play through my headphones at the same time. I don’t know what happened… This never used to happen until I updated my computer….

I have both speakers and headphones and headphones both set as default playback
