Headphones

I have just purchased some new head phones using the usb slot. For some reason the sound will only play through the speakers and not the head phones could any one please help

I would check the sound card settings. There may be an option that allows auto detect of headphones, or you may have to set them up.

Do your headphones have an off/on switch that you're not aware of? Or a volume control that is turned all the way down?

Have you tried the headphones on another computer to make sure the problem is the headphones and not your system?

Have you adjusted all of the relevant computer settings to accomodate the new headphones?

Thanks guys sorted it went into "sound card settings and set the headphones to default"
