Health Analysis Fail

Hi

My windows 7 64bit laptop is a little under a year old and Ive noticed that when ever it performs a Health Analysis it doesn't pass every action.
A windows comes up performing these actions and this has been the results for a while now.

Performing health analysis
It connecting to hp servers - Pass
Downloading updates – Fail
Gathering information – Fail
Analyzing your system – Fail
Preparing the action list - Pass

Is there any way my laptop is not downloading the new updates?

You appear to be talking about an HP Health Analysis....
FYI I currently have 3 HP laptops here & have this facility disabled.
IMO it is useless. It is part of the bloatware HP preinstalls on the computers it sells.
I suggest you ignore it.

JMH is correct. It is HP's bloatware. Windows own updates look for and install the exact same things the HP Health Analysis does except it does it more efficiently and way more reliably. The HP version sure does look purdy though!

Jan is correct and the bloatware is just as difficult to remove as Norton.
