Just wanted to post up and thank all you folks for the knowlege I gained from this site.
I went from XP-sp3 to Windows7 Ultimate on my old Dell Dimension 8300 and could not have done so without your help while lurking/learning.
I'm still in the process of up-grading my old box a little and it's been ongoing bit by bit as things fail/de-grade.
This thing hums right along under 7 and seems alot faster on boot and shutdown. Thanks again Guys,see ya around.
