Solved Hello people, I have several questions(Back up related)

You are correct, I did not run another check after installing all the updates, might as well try, then I plan on trying this:

http://www.sevenforums.com/backup-restore/48069-unable-create-system-image-restore-point-2.html

Sounds like a plan. :) Just one reminder about turning System Protection off and on. Turning off System Protection will delete all restore points for the hard drive. Do you have any saved restore points that go back prior to when the imaging problem first appeared? If yes, you may want to try restoring your machine on the off chance the imaging problem started after the restore point was created.

Create a new restore point. Once that's done, try to restore your computer to the earliest restore point you have. Once the restore finishes, make sure to run Windows Updates, update your antivirus, etc and see if you can create a system image. If it works, problem solved. If it doesn't, use that newest restore point and you're no worse off than you were. Just a thought if you don't mind the extra work.

Well, after trying nearly every questions and wasting an hour or two this friday, I finally just installed macrium and got done with it, that thing's better than I expected, gets the job done in a few simple clicks!

I actually installed it on virtualbox and made the bootdisk in fear of the program infesting my already beaten computer with ads, lol.

Got what I've wanted, thanks again for all your time :p
