So... Everytime I try to run an application it wont start unless I start it in Administrator Mode - Which becomes annoying to do everytime (plus steam games wont work). However even though the app's wont start their " processes will!

So- Is this a common problem !?

I've re-installed W7 Once and nothing has changed also I'm having this problem with all applications including native ones like IE and Windows Media Player

One way is to run as admin. When you installed app did you do it from a regular user account with elevated privledges?

Did you ever have a registry scanning? You may need to repair the broken registry. Glary Utilities, Smart registry , such programs are widely talked about.

Hmm.. This is soo annoying I can't turn of UAC because the same thing happens as when I'm trying to open any other application ... It wont show up (but the process is still running) And I can't run UAC in Administration mode to Disable it : / (wtf).

Btw Registry cleaner didn't work ... I'm going to try to start in Safe mode and turn of UAC there ....

It could be some driver issues because the OS worked fine before I installed all my drivers... However I've tried disabling them all and nothing happens.

I'm also having another problem atm - When I boot up my computer the screen grey's out on me (driver issue again?) So I have to force log out and log in....

Anyways I'll let you know on my progress ^^

I really think you should try to delete everything from your harddrive, and install 7 from scratch ;) But there might be another solution, but i dont know it. ;)

EDIT: You could also try system restore or boot from the dvd and repair computer ;)

Does the icon show up or become glowing on the task bar?

If so, I have this issue a LOT with dual monitors where you move a montior or the other monitor is off and what's happening is the window is rezzzing offscreen :D But you should get the normal task bar icon and you can then move the window back on screen using the task bar icon.

(Not on 7 right now, but on xp, right click, taxk bar icon of running program, click move, hit an arrow key (any one) then use mouse to move window back on screen)

Nop, It's not glowing.

I've tried disabling UAC via SAFE mode but than I can't start nothing! (Omg - WTF) So... I'm a bit stuck right now because I'm using the 64 bit version of W7 and both VISTA and XP is 32 Bit...

Is it technicly illegal to download a 64 bit version of Vista on a torrent site (like pirate bay) if you own the 32 bit.?

yes, but it seems like you can use the same key as 32-bit (http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r20119444-Vista-32-bit-key-good-on-64Bit-install) So i arent 100% sure, but i'm 90% sure it is illegal! ;)
