Where did you get the drivers for your hardware? Did you install the drivers? That's usually the first cause of BSODs in a brand new system - faulty and/or missing drivers.

I would start by downloading the drivers directly from the manufacturer and installing them. Some people swear by using Windows Update to get all of the drivers. I do not share this viewpoint - always get drivers from the manufacturer.

I've highlighted the ones you need. If you download the chipset driver, you don't need to download the SATA drivers separately - they are included.

However, I recommend downloading the Gigabyte SATA2 driver, because the AMD install might not include it - it may only include the AMD SATA drivers.

Most likely those are related to the driver problems you had, which should now be solved. Now, if you enter your BIOS and just sit there, and you lose your mouse/keyboard/monitor, then I would be more inclined that there's a hardware issue.

Just continue to use your computer and see if you continue to have BSODs. It's just a waiting game now.
