What game that you installed on your computer?
Seems the error can be caused by boot loader corruption or faulty media such as hardisk unplugged.
For software related, you can try this method:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/681-startup-repair.html

Also open command prompt at startup then type:
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /rebuildbcd
bootsect /nt60 ALL

i was installing world of warcraft from battle.net:S

i couldent do startup repair since the harddiskent dident show up at all :S

ok i tried bootrec /fixmbr in the command prompt it told me The device is not ready :(
and i tired bootrec /fixboot dident work also told me same thing but when i tried bootrec /rebuildbcd it worked. and nt60 it showed me alot of numbers.

Yeah... either the HDD is beyond dead or as you said - cables, jumpers, etc...

I'm having a hell of a time with an old Dell 2400 - replacing HDD. Gone through several HDDs (even some from other Del 2400s); none being seen in BIOS. But the bad HDD is! Frustrating to say the least.

Is your HDD new?

You can see it in BIOS?

i took this harddrive to this computer im using now and made the test from the windows and got this..

Now is a good time to make sure you have a current backup of your important data.
Unfortunately, your Seagate product has failed an important diagnostic test, possibly caused by problem sectors which are difficult to read. Seagate recommends that you run SeaTools for DOS, which has the ability to repair most problem sectors. SeaTools for DOS may be able to save you from the inconvenience and down time of exchanging the drive. For more information on this subject

I just noticed -- the RAM stick on the right is not properly seated.

Reseat RAM; Push down FIRMLY on each end, you'll hear a click and the white clips will snap into place like the others.

Regards. . .

thats the thing i did one of the test inside windows when i formated it and it said it was passt all the test:S then i restarted computer baam the damn error.. yeah that one wasent seated probably thanks but it still dident fix the issue ;:( but i went to the motherboard statistics and i found that it only supports 3.0GB/S SATA HDD and the HDD I use is 1.5GB/S you think that might be the error?

Asus Page, Storage Built-in Controller :
6 x SATA 3Gb/s port(s), blue
Support Raid 0, 1, 10, JBOD SATA 3GB/s my Harddisk is 1.5 GB/s do you think that could be the problem?

I asked someone who knows hardware better than I and he replied -
It should be backwards compatible . . when you go the other way e.g. Sata I controller with a Sata II drive, you have to change the jumper
