Hi ,
I'm trying to establish a shared wireless netwrok with my bro's WinXP maxhice (we have the same WORKGROUP name).
For start I go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings , and select the "turn on file and printer sharing" and "turn on network discovery" (Doesn't matter if it's public or home/work netwrok) and press save changes.
When I return to the same menu my preferences aren't saved and of course the PC's don't discover each other though there is a ping beetween them and manual network drive assgining is possible.
Whats going on here ?? Maybe a service in my Win7 is not working ?
