[Help] driver webcam for acer 4540

i have problem with my win 7, i use acer 4540 and win 7 and i can't use my web cam. i allready instaled latest driver webcam and still can't use my webcam. it say win 7 can't detect ur device.please i really need help.

Your Acer uses a Chicony webcam the drivers can be downloaded at http://global-download.acer.com/GDF...tep3=Aspire 4540&OS=V10&LC=en&BC=Acer&SC=PA_6

hi Kuching13, welcome to the forums, are you sure you are using the right driver there are 2 listed on the site Acer Support - Download Drivers check to make certain you have the right one

i allready try to installed both driver suyin and chicony but still win 7 can detect my webcam.btw i'm not downloading driver from acer but i have dvd driver bundling from my laptop. btw i used veriface for win 7 and veriface still can't detect my webcam either.
still hope anyone can solved this prob

hi kuching13, i would suggest you use the drivers from the website, they will be more up to date than the dvd you may have to load the drivers in compatibility mode to get them to be recognised correctly , if you need more help please post back

thanx for advice, but i allready reinstall my win 7 from professional to ultimate and now my webcam fully function
btw i used this software it call veriface, this software need webcam for verification face become our password
this for win 7 32bit Veriface Recognition (Windows Vista&Win7).rar
and this for 64bit VeriFace Software Informer: version 3.5 information

btw this software from lenovo but work for another brand as well
and this software tested and work on my laptop acer 4540, but for 64bit not tested yet

ps: sorry i share software here but if u mind with it i'll remove from here
