Sorry if i sound like a noob, i don't really know much about computers. I have an Hp "pavilian m6" running windows 7. I bought it in August 2012. If you need more info let me know. Anyway it keeps freezing up randomly and won't un-freeze. I either have to restart it or just close the screen and wait a while and it will restart itself. So i guess either way it's getting turned off. This just started happening this week and it's really annoying. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hey.

Has anything chagned this past week. in regards to, installtion of new programmes\Driver updates? Anti Virus?

How often does it Crash?

Perhaps try booting up in Safe Mode, (Turn computer on, start tapping F8 straight, then select Safe mode) And see if we can replicate the issue in there.

If in safe mode, everything seems fine. then it could well be driver related.

Do you ever get a blue screen?. As it could be an issue with RAM.

Changes, I'm not really sure. Besides the normal updates it does every so often, nothing i can think of. I did do an update for flash or adobe or both, not sure.
It does it really randomly, sometimes within a minute of use, sometimes after an hour.
No blue screen. When i start it up it does ask if i want to "start windows normally".
I'll try the safe mode thing but like i said, it's very random, it hasn't even done it today, so it would be hard to tell if anything is different.
