[Help]Full screen not working on any games.

Hi guys im new here ,but would like to ask that i have a dell laptop.
configuration :
core i3 processor.
320 gb Hard disk.
ATI mobility raedon Hd 5430 -512 mb Dedicated graphics.
2gb ram.
but the problem is that i have pre installed windows 7 -64 bit system ,but none of the game are working in full screen ,some portion of the screen from both left and right side gets blacken ,i have tried counter strike 1.6 ,CS-Condition Zero,GTA san Andres ,NFS-most wanted.
but all of them having same problem ,can anybody have any solutions to make it full screen ,i have updated the ATI graphics to the latest[updated-15-feb-2011].

I'm not sure if it's an overscan/underscan problem, but if it is..........

If you have CCC installed, in the search field type underscan.
Select Scaling Options.
Move the slider from underscan to overscan and Apply the setting.

Try running OS on 1024*768 - Set resolution then restart laptop. Let it load with that lower resolution then attempt your game again.

Hi! I have the same problem with the games but I don't have ati video card, I have nvidia geforce gt540M and an intel core i7-2670QM with 8GB RAM. The drivers and all are up to date. If someone could help me I would be grateful. You can find me on skype durdun_mircea.
