Help! Gadgets gone transparent!

Some of the gadgets on my laptop have recently gone transparent. I have no idea why this might be the case because "Opacity" is set to 100% and they used to look just fine...

Specifically, the (default) clocks appear normal, but the default currency exchange and Weather Underground ones look silly. They appear normal when I click on them, but then revert to 'almost invisible.'

Help!

You should check the options button next to every gadget. If it doesn't work, you can disable the Aero effect that makes the transparency. It is located in Control panel --> Customization --> Aero effect.
