Solved Help Identify Unidentified Device

Hi SF people could you please advise me.

Wifes Pc, Intel M/B DX58SO2, Win 7 sp1 Ult X64.

Zone Alarm Security Suite had expired on 2 of the house Pc's and wanted to put all Pc's over toKaspersky Internet security.
Uninstalled ZA via Uninstaller in safe mode.
Downloaded KIS 2016 and it would not complete the install.
Short story, after a day and a half success after removing Malwarebytes Premium.
Reinstalled MBam with no problems.
However I have a device driver install problem now on boot that does not install, however nothing shows in Device Manager.

I need a hint of what the driver is for so I can fix theissue.

SFC found nothing.

When your in Device Manager.
Go to View and select Show Hidden Devices.

Yes, I did what you suggested and nothing out of place.

I am baffled to find a way to get a name or string for the driver required.

Take a look in Devices and Printers off the the Start Orb and see if you see a problem.

Can you pull the todays entries from
c >> Windows >> windows update

There should be an entry there
quoting either PCI or VEN

I have re-installed Nvidia drivers with no change.
I have re-installed Chipset drivers with no change.

Hi Wayne,
Those codes relate to Nvidea, but to the GeForce GT520, original MB card??.
Just guessing here are you running dual graphics?

Yes will investigate that link.

This M/B does not have on board graphics the GT 520 is the only graphics.
Single monitor.

I re-installed graphics because it is attached to the only PCI-e slot in use.
I re-installed the chipset because it would control the PCI-e slot.

you can allways turn OFF automatic driver updates.

Thanks Roy, I have not seen that before.
The wife's PC is off now and I have just finished watching the German F1.
I will try to solve the issue with that move tomorrow, Goodnight from me but have a great afternoon at your end.

I could not solve this driver issue so I Imaged back to before I started and installed Kaspersky again.
All is back to normal.
