Help installing SIMS 1 PLEASE

Hi. I recently bought sims 1 basis game. I have exp. packs house party, hot date, unleashed and makin' magic.
When I have installed the basis, and all the exp. packs it seems to work fine. But when I try to install makin' magic (sometimes it happens when it's unleashed), it says that the basis game isn't installed. Then I re-install the basis-game, and all my exp. packs are deleted and I can start over. I can't understand why this happens?? Also, ones I just tried installing basis-unleashed-magic, but during unleashed and magic it still said "please insert the house party-CD." Can you help me please?

Hmmm i dont exactly remember maybe for install Makin' Magic you need to apply the official update for Sims and then install the expansion pack. As far as i remember Expansion Packs used to ask for Patch the game to the latest version first.
