HELP!!internet connection problem

Hello guys and thanks in advanced.

Well i've recently bought a sony vaio and i used my modem dsl-320b modem ethernet and connected to the internet without problems.---> windows 7 home premium OS

After 1 week i have this problem..i can' access to any browser..mozilla o explorer 8,but it does connect to Skype:sarc:.....

i've noticed that the LAN sign is not constant and when i put ethernetn cableback to my older pc with OS windows xp i can connect to the internet without problems at all...any suggestions????

Thinking to change modem..because i read is compatible with vista,not 7.

We need a bunch more information before we can help you.

Whats you network setup, are you using homegroup? also type cmd in search, then type ipconfig /all. make a screenshot of the results and upload it to us.

The default is to display only the IP address,subnet mask and default gateway for each adapter bound to TCP/IP

For Release and Renew,if no adapter name is specified,then the IP adress leases for all adapters bound to TCP/IP will be released o renewed.

For Setclassid and Setclassic6,if no Classid is specified,then the ClassId is removed

Examples:

just let you know that simly i insert the ethernet cable on laptop's gate and didn't configurate anything.

Hello Plout,

Welcome to Seven Forums.

You can highlight everything in the command window that you want to paste here and then right click on the title bar of the command window. Select Edit/Copy. This will put it all on the clipboard. Then select the # sign in the reply and hit ctrl+V to paste the contents of the clipboard between the Code tags. That should paste everything here for us to read.

Thank you guys...well i don't know if I did well,but i've noticed that when I was trying to log in to messenger was missing the DNS...so a friend of mine gave me 2 different numbers of DNS to to enter on the TCP/IPv4 and everything wokrd after that.

Any suggestions or ideas if was some kind of spyware or trojan??I did a full scan with McAfee antivus and Malwarebytes' Antimalware....and nothing found.Do you think is going to be repeat this problem?
