If you have a 7 retail disk, clean install 7 and delete Vista. I can't see why you would want vista when you have 7.

Didn't you put the .iso onto a cd? Is this a legally purchased version? Get the .iso, burn it to disc then reboot and choose advanced and then delete all your partitons, and start afresh.

There is nothing wrong with Vista and dual boot is a good idea and especially if run into trouble and are unable to boot into your Primary OS, I would think that it has already proven useful for the original poster as he is probably using Vista right now to post his problem.

Have you tried to boot in safe mode yet or tried to use the repair options on the boot selection screen by pressing F8 and selecting Repair?

If you run into trouble you can use the system image and disc you should have created to restore your system in Backup and Restore unless your hardware is defective. Nero will do the trick - choose a lower burn speed.

Your advise seems to very badly thought out if you have thought about it at all that is, you would see him loose both his OS's and all his Data without even trying a few simple repair/recovery steps.

I also installed Windows 7 from an ISO many times and I also dual boot with Vista and I am sure that having Vista has nothing to do with his problem and deleting his only working OS will not help in any way, also the RC can still be used for some time and can only be obtained only as an ISO, plus like myself you can also get the RTM as an ISO if you are a Technet Subscriber.

Its not good. Even if you make the DVD what are you going to use for a product key?

Harsh language?

IF!!! It's not an infected or altered image it's probably an illegal copy!

You hosed your system for nothing. Find your Vista disk and fix it.

Then go buy Windows 7

I don't think we can help you further. If you got it form Mininova then it is a pirated version.

I do not think Win7 forums supports Pirated software.

Please BUY Windows 7. Pirating doesn't benefit the makers of the software, therefore they can not continue to make the software you enjoy using.

When the PC starts and you get the setup menu are you able to get any more options if you press F8 or Delete?

Also you need to set your BIOS options to boot from your CD first.
