Help me to avoid opening web browser

From 2 days i m suffering from a strange problem .. whenever i press BACK arrow key on my keyboard internet explorer automatically gets open with my homepage .. previously i was thinking it might be problem of IE i changed default browser to Google chrome,, still same thing happening but instead of IE that Google Chrome gets open with home page..

PS: there is no virus in my system i confirmed and i m using Kasper-sky Internet security 2011 with daily updates..

one more thing only one exception is that whenever i open any web browser like opera, Firefox , etc and press back arrow key it opens homepage defined in corresponding browser in same browser window, that means this time it uses same browser to open home page.. and in other time suppose i am viewing photos in Picassa and press back arrow key on keyboard to see previous image then previous image gets open but simultaneously my default web browser gets open that's my problem..

This could be many things.

The fastest way to resolve this is to restore a backup from before the problem started. Do you by chance have one?

Do you have a win 7 dvd to do a repair install?

What changed when this started happening? new software, windows update, etc?

thanx for reply.. i tried to restore but no restore point there,, yes i have windows 7dvd.... and i have not install any new software or not even any update... is it hardware problem of my keyboard??

and so sorry i will not use red bold from next time..
