Help me with firewall please

I used to use PC Tools Firewall Plus as a firewall after disabling Windows Firewall. But lately I found problems with that firewall, it shows up a popup reading "Device driver software was not successfully installed"
there's a "X" Failed mark against this driver named "PC Tools Driver"

Can anyone suggest me some good and light firewall either paid or free. Not the one in those heavy, resource draining suites like comodo please. I get popups for every thing like if that programs writes to virtual memory or the programs trying to access internet etc. in PC Tools Firewall, suggest me likewise please.

In Windows 7 I have always use the built in firewall with no problems.

Make sure the old PC Tools Firewall is removed completely first.

Running more than one real-time anti-virus program can cause problems.

I've read about TinyWall as being very good, uses built-in firewall, and it's free.

I heard that "Tinywall" is extremely light but it also minimal that you have little control of what go in and out via pop-up.
There is also Windows 7 Firewall Control. There is a free and paid version, it also light on the machine, but using the free version is rather annoying, if you have the cash go for it.

As for me, I recommend dealing (and learning) with either Windows' Firewall or just go with the heavier stuff like Comodo. There isn't much option when it come to free software in term of firewall. Based on my 2014 research into them, I have to went with Comodo even though there plenty of thing I dislike of it.

Perhaps if you're willing to pay there might be a wider choice.

With Win 7 I've only used the built in firewall and a hardware firewall ...
