Solved Help Need to get back data from no label HDD

Hiya, I in big trouble. I just went to setup XP pro tomy father lappy. the weird part is after ths OS cd load everything it came to drive selection section but it show only 1 drive with 0 value. it suppose to be c: n D: drive. I just exit. and seem i try to test install w7 to chec about the drive and it show no drive to select to install w7.

THe major proble in the HDD got very important thing almost 1Mil artwork sum up. all need ed for 2011 task. Plwase anyone how to recover data in there. I think the disk corrupt my HDD. Im going to buy USB case for lappy HDD to plug at my old pc XP pro. Is there any tool that i can read HDD in this situation? Plz. My father will lost his job if all gone.

First buy the USB case & see if old PC can read the disk.

For help with your father notebook,Can you post the specs.

he also using aspire 4935g, standard spec come with vista homepremium.
mine sending to factory bcoz BSOD thing.

highlight:
-the HDD not farmatted upon the installation XP process just the drive appear only 1 and weird unknown, no Mb show only zero.
-upon installing back the w7 the select drive section show empy in the list.

Is there any software that can slip into the HDD to read inside? or hidden drive as OEM drive?

100% i assured the data not been erase yet.

Hi again, so this was i got with USB external result:

no label drive (only 1 show)
file sys RAW

used 0
avalable 0
hdd capacity 0

is there any software tool can intrude inside to see what inside?
i bet there still have item inside there.

here the result from icare data recovery. it show only erase item from last format and del file. Seem i didnt found any current data file that needed. Alot file jpeg only from browser in the past.

this picture from partition magic. but seem show 298.1GB. it suppose to be 320Gb. Maybe there still have hidden drive? i remembered there 2 OEM partition in it. any suggestion? THE 2nd DISK. DISK 2.



should i just format this drive? and then try recovery? Plz anyone help me.

Thks Theog, and i say YAY!, i got some the important data from in it. Im using Scavenger. Seem it cool function. root directory and save(root mapping bookmark) no need to rescan for 4 hr lol. but i try all tool you listed, it cool too.

ANyway not all data that i retrieve, lot of them already corrupt. 1/3 of data but the good news is the important file recovered. some artwork gone.
