Hi yesterday I was doing some recordings and I managed to make my xbox live wireless headset play its self in the head set so I could hear my self talk.

I put both audio from the pc and myself into one.

Now all day today I've been trying to do it again and can't seem to do it.

I did it all within the recordings and playback options yet I can't remember exactly how I did it.

I've tried making my head set both default in playing back communications and the default device yet it still wont play back its self into the headset.

I've also tried under the recording properties for it to play back through device the head sets earphone and also tried speakers and it doesn't seem to work :(

If someone can help that would be great.

my sound card is Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio

If you goto "sound" in the control panel , then right click on whichever one your headphones are running off in the playback tab and goto properties , then goto "levels" what is the volume set to for the microphone?
