So I dowloaded the W7 iso file, then backed it up with 5 CDRs. Okay, I insert disc one, and at first I needed to pen the file ext .NBF. So i chose the program, NTI Backup Now 4.7...it opens and then sits there reads it...I cancled the operation after 7 mins, should I wait? Or whats wrong?

Hi and welcome on SF!
Next time please use a kind of title for your post that tells more about it! Thx.

What program did you used for backing up? (why?:))
Are you using the same to get back?
Did the backup program wrote those discs by itself?

EDIT:
Maybe it takes so much time only because it makes highly compressed backups and it takes time to decompress it, so you should wait.

i THOUGHT i MADE IT EVIDENT ENOUGH FROM THE GET GO, sorry for caps

Program: NTI Backup Now 4.7 Why: Cause Windows chose it as default I guess

If you mean same program, yes!

The program wrote them and it did it fine.

How do you start the restoration? Do you put in the 1st CD and start the file on it?
Try to start first the NTI Backupnow.. and choose the restore menu! Maybe this way better. (maybe not :) )

(Sorry for the stup!d questions, but sometimes they help much :) )
