Help please?!

I disabled the network thinking I could just enable it again in seconds. My Internet wasn't working, so that's why I tried it.
Well after I pressed disable the window I had open, closed. I searched, and searched for an enable button, but found nothing.
I found something on the Internet that took me through Start Menu>Control Panel>Network and Internet>Network and Sharing Center, then it said to click on Maintain Networks, but it's not even there!
What can I do to fix it? I really don't want to take my computer in, or do a factory restore.

go into the network and sharing center from control panel, click on 'change adapter settings' on the left, find the network you want to use, highlight and enable...
