help please

Hey guys so I have a Toshiba with windows 7 and when I ran into some updates I had to restart my laptop and when I did a startup repair option appeared and it began repairing after 30 minutes or so it finished and it restarted in its own but afterwords the screen stayed black and nothing happend . I was able to do a system recovery and use my computer until I turned it off and when I turned it back on the same thing happened but this time I think I am stuck and it continues to black screen please help me if you can. By the way I'm on a iPad.

Shut it down and start in Safe Mode and see if you can get your screen to come on. Then in Safe Mode do a Restore.
Then let us know...we will take one step at a time.

Hint for installing updates.
Install the smaller ones first then do the larger ones one at a time.

doing a system restore and if this does not work my mom is taking my laptop to her freind who knows how to fix PC's thanks for the help will update you.

Just restore it back to where it was working fine before the updates.
