G,day everyone, please can someone help me, im not too good with computers but can follow instructions, I have a Dell Intel Pentium laptop, all was going well then I must have touched something as now all my files have an arrow going through them and when I click on them I go to windows media player which then says cannot open fie and something about a .exe file.. please how do I restore my files back to normal,
Any help will be so appreciated

Try using this tutorial by Brink to restore your computer to a time when this problem wasn't there.

I'd also download, install (declining Trial) and run a full scan with Malwarebytes
and SUPERAntiSpyware - Downloads .

Then check if any System files are damaged by running SFC /SCANNOW Command.

If this isn't sufficient, then work through the other Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 to go over your install thoroughly and often uncover problems.
