I have Windows 7 Pro, your wording in Control Panel might be a little different if you have a different version/edition.

Hello Roland,
It says in the error message that the file does not have a program associated with it ? Or if it does then create a default program. I need to know what program i need to download my photo's or if i already have a file what is it called, i am at a loss now and i may have uninstalled the file i need by mistake but don't know what file or program i need on my laptop ??
Thanks for your response

What is the brand and exact model of the digital camera? What is the extension on the photos that the camera takes?

What OS is on your mobile phone? iOS, Android or Windows and what version of the OS?

I couldn't post yesterday when the school isp changed gears. Find and download irfanview and VLC. It may be all you need. VLC for all video, irfanview for all images.

For photos you should be able to associate them to use Windows Photo Gallery. You can import from your camera and phones using that

That's what I use.

Click Computer, see your device, right click and choose to 'import'. :)
