Ok, so my netgear is plug in my Xp pc. My netgear is allowing my Window vista 7 home premium to connect to the internet. But when i try to connect with my Window 7 Home premium is saying that Unable to connect to netgear. I try to update my drive but it is saying it already up to date. It was working 2hrs ago. Not is not Please help me.

Have you re-booted the router and computer? Are you using encryption? are you using WEP? Are y ou using a firewall or anti-virus?

Im using Wap-Professional. I have password and i reboot netgear. And i turn off my anti-virus. Please help

Just to test turn off WAP and see if you can connect.

How do you turn it off?

192.168.1.1 should connect you to the router. Use "admin" and "password" to get in.

How do you turn it off?

Go to the routers web page (usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1) find the setting and uncheck it.

Ok, it work when i turn it off but i want a password on it so other ppl cant go in. Well if i dont turn of WPA-PSK [TKIP] it works, but i want it on so no one other cpu can go in. Can u help me?
I want a protection because i dont want other ppl see what im doing and my files.

Are you sure that you had your password typed in correctly before when it was not working for you?
